Radicle Heart Farm lamb is 100% grass-fed. Lambs are born in late spring on pasture and learn to graze the diverse pasture from their mothers.
By moving the flock daily, I ensure that the sheep are supporting the health of the pasture and improving habitat for all the insects, birds, and other creatures that share the space. Plus, it keeps the sheep happy and healthy!
Preorder a whole or half lamb from Radicle Heart Farm to stock your freezer.
Whole and half lambs are available in November/December. Customers can choose from 3 standard cut options or customize their own.
Whole lambs will yield 40-45 pounds of meat and half lambs yield 20 to 22 pounds.
Shepherd's boxes are a great way to sample our meats! Generally, boxes are available year round.
Choose from a variety of products made of 100% grass-fed mutton. We offer stew, ground, summer sausage, and brats. Mutton comes from older animals. Our mutton tastes very similar to lamb and is mild and incredibly delicious.

I am partnering with my neighbor to offer slaughter your own lamb. This is NOT a class. YOU MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE.
How slaughter your own works:
1. Preorder your lamb and pay a deposit to confirm your order
2. Preordered lambs will be brought to Golden Hawk Farm, a custom meat processor on OCT 25 at 9am.
3. Slaughter the lamb yourself and work with meat processor, Tony, if you want it cut up.
Cost: $4.75/lb live weight + $75 processing fee
Live weights will be between 85 and 100 pounds meaning you will go home with 35-45 pounds of meat.
Total cost will be between $450 and $575
To order, please email radicleheartfarmATgmail.com
When you order a whole or half lamb, you get to select what meat cuts you get! To make it easy, I offer four standard mixes of cuts or you can select your own mix. Click below to see the options.
One of my ways of honoring the lives of the sheep is working to use every piece of the animal possible when they are harvested.
I am learning the traditional folk art, Skinnfell, of sewing printed sheepskins from Norway. I'll be sharing what I've learned through classes at Norway House or you can shop my booth at the Nicollet Island Fall Market.
Sunday, November 17th 10am-4pm
Nicollet Island Pavilion, 40 Power St, Mpls
All the creatures under our care deserve the best! I made these freeze dried treats for my dog and cats and I have enough to share. Each bag contains a mix of freeze dried organ pieces from my 100% grass-fed lamb flock.
Treats will be available for sale at the Nicollet Island Fall Market. Sunday, November 17th 10am-4pm.
